Company

Independent research, carried into the real world.

EION connects original intelligence-systems research, production engineering, and focused product operations inside one technology company.

Our model

One system from research to use.

EION is organized to reduce the distance between a technical discovery and a dependable product. Research informs architecture; product use reveals new questions; shared engineering capability accelerates both.

The parent company stewards intellectual property, engineering standards, and long-range direction. Each division and product remains accountable to its own purpose, market, and audience.

Founded by Matthew

Built through a connected line of inquiry.

EION was founded by Matthew, an independent researcher and systems engineer working across neuromorphic computing, artificial intelligence, knowledge architecture, and production software.

His investigation into Scripture-scale neural relationships led to questions of verification, domain grounding, model orchestration, and persistent personal intelligence. Those questions became Arca, Ellie, and the wider EION research program.

The company exists to develop that work with technical rigor—and to turn the strongest discoveries into systems people can actually use.

Research progression

EION’s systems emerged as one question exposed the need for the next. This is a conceptual progression; dated research milestones will be published as the historical record is prepared.

  1. 01

    Structured domain data

    Scripture at system scale

Canonical text, lexical information, observations, and relationships were organized around identifiable Scripture locations.

  2. 02

    Neuromorphic research

    Learning relationships

A custom spiking neural system explored latent relationships across a shared memory space representing all 31,102 KJV verses.

  3. 03

    Arca

    Returning discovery to evidence

A typed, deterministic Scripture graph created an inspectable foundation for verification and grounded generation.

  4. 04

    Model research

    Specializing the intelligence layer

Language and state-space model experiments examined domain-specific representations, training data, and retrieval behavior.

  5. 05

    Ellie

    Planning, memory, and continuity

Tool planning, iterative evidence gathering, and persistent-context research converged into an adaptive intelligence architecture.

  6. 06

    Integrated architecture

    Discovery, grounding, and orchestration

Arca and Ellie became complementary layers: reliable domain intelligence paired with the ability to use it deliberately.

Company architecture

Clear mandates allow technical ideas to move from first principles to production without losing rigor.

Operating principles

Built for consequential work.

  • 01

    Substance over spectacle

Technical credibility and measurable utility take precedence over trend-driven claims.

  • 02

    Evidence before assertion

Research status, results, and limits should be stated as carefully as the systems themselves are built.

  • 03

    Stewardship is a feature

Products are designed for continuity, maintainability, and responsible evolution.
