Scope and who we are

EION Development, LLC (“EION,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is the controller of personal information covered by this policy. This policy applies when you visit EION.dev, contact us, obtain support, or use an EION-controlled application, product, feature, or service that links to this policy (collectively, the “Services”).

A Service may provide a supplemental privacy notice at collection or in its settings. That notice controls for the specific feature if it conflicts with this policy. Information EION processes for an EION Studio client is governed by the applicable client agreement and the client’s privacy notice when EION acts only as a processor or service provider.

learn about God™ is independently operated. Its ministry, editorial activity, user relationships, and theology are separate from EION’s commercial portfolio. Its own privacy notice governs information it controls. EION may process limited information for that platform only in its disclosed role as technology developer or service provider.

Information we collect

Information you provide

• Contact and support information: name, email address, company or organization, inquiry category, messages, support correspondence, and information you choose to include.
• Account and profile information: credentials, display name, preferences, or account identifiers where a Service offers accounts.
• Transaction information: product, subscription, purchase status, receipt or transaction identifier, and limited billing details. App stores and payment processors generally process full payment-card information directly.
• User content: prompts, text, files, audio, recordings, notes, feedback, research materials, or other content you submit to a feature that accepts it.
• Business information: project requirements, proposals, contracts, professional contact details, and communications related to EION Studio, licensing, research, or partnerships.

Information collected automatically

• Device and network information: IP address, device type, operating system, browser, language, approximate location derived from IP, identifiers, and app or software version.
• Usage and diagnostic information: pages or features used, interactions, timestamps, referring pages, performance data, crash reports, and security logs.
• Local storage: EION.dev stores your light or dark theme selection in browser local storage. This preference is functional and is not used to track you across unrelated services.
• Advertising information: some ad-supported app versions may permit advertising providers to collect device identifiers, product interactions, and usage data for advertising, measurement, fraud prevention, or attribution.

Information from others

We may receive information from app stores, payment providers, distribution platforms, advertising and analytics providers, business partners, security vendors, and publicly available sources. This can include purchase status, campaign attribution, fraud signals, and aggregate or diagnostic information.

Messages and user content can reveal sensitive information, including religious beliefs or other protected characteristics. Please do not submit sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for the feature or request.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

• provide, maintain, personalize, troubleshoot, and secure the Services;
• process transactions, verify entitlements, and administer subscriptions;
• respond to inquiries, provide support, and communicate about a relationship with you;
• develop, test, research, and improve products, features, safety, and performance;
• understand use of the Services through analytics and diagnostics;
• detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, prohibited conduct, and technical failures;
• enforce our agreements and protect EION, users, and others;
• comply with law, legal process, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations; and
• create aggregate or de-identified information. We maintain de-identified information in de-identified form and do not attempt to reidentify it except to test our de-identification processes or as permitted by law.

AI-enabled features and model improvement

If a Service offers an AI-enabled feature, information you submit may be processed to generate a response, retrieve relevant material, prevent abuse, evaluate quality, and maintain the feature. EION may use its own systems or carefully selected model, hosting, or infrastructure providers. A feature may display additional controls or disclosures before collection.

Contact-form messages and private support correspondence are not used to train general-purpose AI models unless we first provide a specific notice and obtain any permission required by law or contract. Content submitted directly to an AI or research feature may be used to evaluate or improve that feature only as disclosed at collection, in product settings, or in a governing business agreement.

Where EION processes customer data on behalf of a business customer, we use that data only as permitted by the customer agreement. We may use aggregate or properly de-identified information to measure and improve our systems.

Legal bases for processing

Where the GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar law applies, our legal bases depend on the context:

• Contract: to provide requested Services, support, transactions, and account functionality.
• Legitimate interests: to operate, secure, improve, and understand the Services; communicate with users and business contacts; prevent fraud; and protect legal rights, after considering the impact on individuals.
• Consent: for activities where consent is requested, such as certain device permissions, advertising tracking, or optional communications. You may withdraw consent prospectively.
• Legal obligation: to comply with applicable law, lawful requests, financial recordkeeping, and regulatory duties.
• Vital interests: in rare cases where processing is necessary to protect a person’s life or physical safety.

How we disclose information

We may disclose personal information to:

• Service providers and processors supporting cloud hosting, content delivery, email, customer support, security, diagnostics, analytics, payments, app distribution, advertising, and AI infrastructure;
• App stores and transaction providers to distribute products, verify purchases, administer subscriptions, and address refunds or disputes;
• Business customers when you use a Service provided through an organization, subject to the organization’s agreement and notice;
• Professional advisers such as attorneys, auditors, insurers, and accountants under appropriate duties of confidentiality;
• Authorities and other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process, investigate misuse, enforce agreements, prevent harm, or protect rights, safety, and security;
• Transaction participants in connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections; and
• Others at your direction or with your consent.

Advertising, cookies, and privacy signals

At the effective date, EION.dev does not deploy behavioral advertising cookies or third-party web analytics. It loads web fonts from Google and uses functional browser local storage for your theme preference. Hosting providers may process ordinary server logs for delivery and security.

Application practices can differ by platform, version, region, and settings. For example, the current Android listing for PARAVOX 4 states that the app does not collect or share data, while the current iOS listing discloses identifiers and usage data used for tracking or third-party advertising, plus diagnostics not linked to identity. Always review the current privacy disclosure shown by your app store and the permission prompt presented by your device.

We do not sell personal information for money. Disclosure to an advertising partner may nevertheless be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under some U.S. state laws. Where applicable, you may opt out through an in-app control, the iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt, device advertising settings, a legally recognized browser signal such as Global Privacy Control where technically supported, or by emailing contact@eion.dev. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of users under 18 for targeted advertising.

Browser “Do Not Track” signals do not have a uniform legal or technical standard. We respond to legally required opt-out preference signals where they apply to our processing.

Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide the Services, maintain security and continuity, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal, tax, accounting, or reporting requirements. The period depends on the information’s nature, sensitivity, context, legal requirements, and risk.

Contact and support records are generally retained for the duration of the relationship and a reasonable period afterward. Transaction records may be retained for legally required financial periods. Security logs and backups may remain for limited operational cycles. Information may be retained longer when necessary for an active dispute, legal hold, fraud prevention, or safety. We may retain aggregate or de-identified information without a fixed period.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, taking into account the nature of the information and the risks of processing. No transmission, storage system, or security measure is completely secure. You are responsible for using secure devices, protecting credentials, and notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access involving an EION Service.

International data transfers

EION is based in the United States, and information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for restricted transfers, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, the UK Addendum or International Data Transfer Agreement, or another lawful transfer mechanism. You may contact us for information about applicable safeguards.

Your privacy rights and choices

Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to:

• know whether and how we process your information and access a copy;
• correct inaccurate information;
• delete information;
• receive certain information in a portable format;
• restrict or object to processing;
• opt out of targeted advertising, sale, sharing, or certain profiling;
• withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing;
• appeal our decision on a request; and
• not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising a privacy right.

Submit a request to contact@eion.dev with “Privacy Request” in the subject line and identify the Service involved. We may verify your identity and request information reasonably necessary to locate records. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted, but we may require proof of authority and direct identity verification. If we deny a request, reply with “Privacy Appeal” to appeal the decision.

EEA or UK residents may also complain to their local data protection authority. California residents may contact the California Privacy Protection Agency or Attorney General. Rights are not absolute, and we may retain or withhold information where law permits or requires.

Additional U.S. state disclosures

The following describes the categories of personal information EION may have collected and disclosed for business purposes during the preceding 12 months. Actual collection depends on the Service used:

We collect these categories from you, your device, the organization through which you use a Service, app stores, providers, partners, and public sources. We use them for the purposes in Section 3. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you, and we do not collect it beyond what is reasonably necessary for the disclosed purpose.

EION has not sold personal information for money. Certain advertising disclosures described in Section 7 may constitute sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under a particular state law. We do not offer financial incentives in exchange for personal information. These disclosures do not concede that a particular state privacy law applies to EION or to every user.

Children’s privacy

The general EION Services are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. A person under 13 may not submit a contact form, create an account, or use a data-collecting feature. Users under the age of legal majority must have permission from a parent or guardian. An app-store age rating describes content suitability and does not override these privacy rules.

If you believe a child provided personal information to EION, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as required. A product specifically designed for children would use a separate notice and any legally required parental-consent process before collecting personal information.

Third-party services and links

The Services may link to or interoperate with app stores, Discord, websites, AI providers, payment services, or other third parties. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices. EION is not responsible for a third party’s independent processing. Review its terms and privacy notice before providing information.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as our Services, practices, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy with a new “Last updated” date and provide additional notice when required. Material changes apply prospectively unless law permits otherwise.
